Aaron Ramsdale, Arsenal’s goalkeeper, has reportedly made a choice on his future with the club as he struggles to recapture a place in the starting lineup.
Ramsdale was initially the first choice, but faced competition when David Raya was brought on loan at the start of the current season. Despite not actively seeking a move during the past transfer window due to a lack of viable suitors, the goalie is unhappy with his current circumstances.
According to The Sun, Ramsdale has opted to seek a switch during the forthcoming summer transfer window. He wants to play regularly starting next season, but he knows he won’t be able to do so at the Emirates, thus he has decided to quit the club permanently.
Most of us feel sorry for Ramsdale as he struggles to play and realizes he is better than sitting on the bench right now.
However, the manager takes the final decision, and if he believes Raya is the best option for the squad, we will support him.
Ramsdale now needs to find a new home where he will be valued, although he will most likely go to a much lesser club to prove himself again.
