Pep Guardiola admits a “bored” Erling Haaland is ready to unleash hell on Premier League defences again.
Manchester City sensation Haaland has spent the last two months on the sidelines after suffering a broken bone in his foot. But he has returned to full training and is expected to make his comeback against Burnley when the top flight strugglers visit the Etihad.
Haaland plundered a record 53 goals last season to help City win a historic Treble. And he had helped himself to 19 more in all competitions this time round, before breaking down injured.
Guardiola is relishing have the Norwegian hitman back in the ranks for the second half of the season. The City boss said: “For the first time he is back. When we have all the squad, we are stronger, definitely.
“Erling is an important player for us, definitely. Has been two months out, a long time, but he feels good. He\’s been bored, and he wants to play. But at the same time he has refreshed his mind.
