BREAKING NEWS: ‘Scoring five goals against Luton is nothing to me. Imagine scoring five goals against Arsenal when we play again; that’s when they’ll realize they’re average teams.’ Man City Star Erling Haaland gives his thoughts on Arsenal’s title challenge against Manchester City.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland observed the Premier League title battle and proclaimed, ‘We are ready to att.ack’.

City defeated Luton Town 6-2 on Tuesday night to go to the FA Cup quarterfinals at Kenilworth Road. Haaland scored five goals for Pep Guardiola’s team, including a hat-trick in the first half lasting 40 minutes.

Haaland has recently recovered from an ankle ailment that kept him sidelined for two months. He’s already scored seven goals in his last six games, and talisman Kevin De Bruyne is back to his best after a protracted hamstring injury. He assisted on Haaland’s first four goals against Luton.

The pair will be hoping they can inspire City to a fourth successive Premier League title. They currently trail leaders Liverpool by one point and travel to Anfield on Sunday week for a seismic encounter. Arsenal are a point adrift in third.

And Haaland has delivered a stern warning to the Reds as they compete for the trophy. “It’s coming, and we’re coming,” he told ITV Sport.

“How’s my fitness? I’m getting back to my best. Finally, I’m feeling terrific. It’s an incredible feeling. Exciting times ahead. We’re ready to attack.

However, City suffered another injury blow in their triumph over Luton. Jack Grealish was pulled out in the 38th minute due to a recurrence of a groin injury and looked obviously distraught on the bench. Manager Pep Guardiola said: “I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet, but I believe he complained about the groin, so it may be similar.
