BREAKING NEWS: “I’m not sure why he will choose Arsenal over a major club like Manchester City”

BREAKING NEWS: ‘He is the best finisher we have in the Premier League; I’m not sure why he will choose Arsenal over a major club like Manchester City. Man City Star youngster Phil Foden announced his £60 million international teammate has signed personal terms to join Arsenal before the window closes.

Arsenal have been connected with a striker who has previously been quite complimentary of winger Bukayo Saka.

Mikel Arteta presently has two strikers that are glad to be playing alongside Saka, but they aren’t scoring enough goals.

Even though they have played well, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have unable to find the back of the goal consistently.

And if Arsenal are to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City, who have goal scorers such as Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland, they will need to score more goals.

Jesus and Nketiah are superb players, but their skill sets are now too close; neither can compensate for the other’s faults.

Having said that, Arsenal have been advised they can sign Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson before next week’s deadline.

Wilson has been offered to interested clubs for £18 million because of Newcastle’s desire to raise finances.

And, while a move may make sense strictly in terms of money and goals, there is reason to believe Wilson will fit in well with the club.

Never shy on or off the pitch, Wilson has previously dished out a lot of praise for Arsenal star Saka.

Bukayo Saka would benefit from a striker like Callum Wilson at Arsenal

Wilson described Saka’s personality and promise before England’s World Cup campaign in 2022, saying the winger was like his younger brother.

He explained: “He’s just a truly kind guy. He’s a young boy with a promising career ahead of him; the world is his oyster.

“He is incredibly skilled, but he is also extremely humble. He’s always smiling, laughing, and joyful.

“I first met him at this camp. I get along with him like a house on fire; he’s like a younger brother to me.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal fans would be pleased if 31-year-old Wilson joined as the club’s next striker to play with Nketiah.
